Application Criteria

For Continuing Students Entering the University Honors Program:

• Be a first-year student (by residence, not credit count).
• Be a full-time student, carrying at least 12 credits in the first semester at UW-Stevens Point.
• A cumulative GPA of 3.75 at completion of the first semester.
• Provide the name of an instructor or professor as an academic reference.
• Students need to fulfill at least half (50 percent) of the General Education Program. This should include first-semester courses and any credit by exam.
• Students will not be able to apply for the University Honors Program after the completion of two semesters at UW-Stevens Point.
