Parking Lot Enforcement: UWSP Parking regulations are enforced year-round, even when classes are not in session. Student parking Lots J, P, Q, and W are open when classes are not in session & finals week is over.
Student Lots are Full: Student annual permit sales are halted due to unavailability of parking space.
2018 Spring Term Parking Permit - $92.00: Spring term Student parking permits will be sold based on availability and Waitlist sign-up. You can add your name to the Waitlist to be notified in January of permit purchase status, if space is available in spring term. (Fall semester permit returns determine if spring permits are available.)
Current Student Permit Holders: If all the student lots are full, you can call the Parking Services Office, 715-346-3900, 24/7 to park in an alternate parking spot. With vehicle license plate notification and your UWSP Student parking hangtag displayed from vehicle rearview mirror, you can park in the meter section of Lot T. Parking Lot T entrance is off of Illinois Ave. Drive through permit section until the "meter" section and park at a meter with student permit displayed from vehicle rearview mirror. Alternate lot parking option is only available when Lot Q is completely full.
Everyone: faculty, staff, students & guests pay to park on campus: All vehicles parking on university property are charged user fees. Students and staff can purchase permits, and guest/visitor parking is available at the meters. Parking Services is a self-funded operation through permit sales and citations. Approximately 3,000 spaces are available on campus that regularly hosts 10,000 people; a diverse mix of students, faculty, staff and visitors. Space is distributed with parking permits, meters and pay stations. The significant parking demands on campus mean that purchase of a permit does not always guarantee a space. The university is not responsible for any damage to a vehicle operated or parked on campus. Student lots are located on the perimeter of campus and not close to classrooms. Student permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, until sales maximum is reached. New students can purchase a permit after orientation, registration and computer logon is activated.
Faculty/Staff Waitlist: Faculty/staff Waitlist sign-up available until August 1st. After lot assignments, based on "seniority-of-service at UWSP criteria" process completed in early August, parking permits for assigned lot will be available to purchase.
Alternative Transportation Option: UW-Stevens Point Parking Services supports the campus sustainability efforts and encourages the use of alternative methods of transportation.
Bike racks are located throughout campus for students & staff preferring to bike to campus.
