Dr. Jeff Kleiman, interim associate dean and professor of History, chaired two sessions and delivered the paper When Cultural Diversity Became a Virtue: American Exceptionalism and the Cold War in October in Lodz, Poland. In November, he delivered the paper A Surge of Piety: The Cold War, Religion and Science Fiction Films the Film and History Conference in Milwaukee.

Jeff Kleiman, History Professor, in conjunction with the Marshfield Public Library coordinated presentations for author Claire Conner to campus to discuss her autobiographical book Wrapped in the Flag: A Personal History of America's Radical Right.
