When Pacelli Catholic Schools had a need to create a new fitness facility, it knew the faculty experts and students from UWSP would be a goldmine of knowledge to tap into. Division of Interior Architecture (IA) students Derek Kucksdorf and Konna Jahns helped the nearby Cousins Subs bring two additional senses–sight and feel–to its customers through the division's proposed new Design Center's first remodeling project in the campus neighborhood. Cultural Commons

Cultural Commons
Professor Aaron Kadoch was a part of a site dedication for the new Cultural Commons, an interactive garden and education space located in Pfiffner Pioneer Park that he provided landscape and architectural design. The space will also include a labyrinth designed by Professor Katja Marquart. This Commons is a gift to the people of Stevens Point from four partnering organizations and their donors: Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners of the Americas, Inc., the Polish Sister City, the Russian Sister City Project and the Rotary Club of Stevens Point.
