Desire2Learn – D2L

Desire2Learn  is UWSP’s course management system.  To access D2L, sign in using your UWSP credentials at https://uwsp.courses.wisconsin.edu/ For information on using D2L click the following link, D2L Tips and Tutorials, to view “how to” tutorials.  For training in Desire2Learn, contact Mary Mielke at 3047 or mmielke@uwsp.edu.

ePortfolios at UWSP

UWSP uses D2Ls ePortfolio tool which is integrated into D2L’s online course management system.  For more information on D2L’s ePortfolio software visit their site at http://www.desire2learn.com/eportfolio/highered/ or contact the TLRN at 3047 for instruction in the use of D2L and ePortfolio.

  • What are ePortfolios?   
ePortfolios are a collection of authentic and diverse evidence drawn from a larger archive representing what a person or organization has learned over time on which the person or organization has reflected, and designed for presentation to one or more audiences for a particular rhetorical purpose ( NLII, 2003 now the Electronic Learning Initiative)

    A new addition to D2L is Communicate, a UW System supported tool, that allows instructors to communicate with their students using a web-based conferencing system. With Communicate instructors and students can work  synchronously in small groups
