Our Goal

Deer herds in central Wisconsin are on the rise with populations of deer venturing out of forest habitats and into urban settings. Due to deer presence within urban areas, tick-born diseases are increasing. There is also an increase in crop and garden damage, along with vehicle collisions.

Developing an effective plan to control urban deer numbers is a topic of debate. There are many possible methods. We have researched the four most common methods of urban deer management.
