Students for Sustainability held their annual tree planting event Friday, and over 50 students attended the event. This year the student group focused on nurturing and maintaining the plants they have planted in the past, to really promote environment sustainability.
It's all about bringing ourselves back to our connection with the land, because its where we came from. It's our job to nurture that relationship and do everything we can to treat it the right way," said student group president Kelly Adlington.
This was only one of the many events students held during earth week, to teach the community how to be Eco-Friendly.
