The Department of Workforce Development and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point are working together to try and retain graduates in the area.
Research shows that if students intern in Wisconsin, they're more likely to stay in the state to work.
During an event Thursday, on campus, University of Wisconsin system President Dr. Ray Cross further explained the benefits.
