The University of Stevens Point worked with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, also known as FEMA, to conduct their first ever virtual tabletop emergency training.
This was the first time that UW-Stevens Point partnered with FEMA to do the virtual tabletop exercise.
Schools all across the U.S., even as far away as Alaska took part.
FEMA gave out pre-packaged scenarios and questions for those in attendance to discuss.
"Through that discussion we can identify gaps, identify things that we're doing really well, and identify things that we may need to make improvements on our plan," explained UW-Stevens Point Emergency Management Specialist Corinna Neeb.
