It was a big weekend for Wisconsin sports, but especially for teams in Stevens point with three teams each getting major victories.
The U.W. Stevens Point Men's Basketball team became Division 3 National Champions, Pointers Men's Hockey is moving on to the Frozen Four, and Stevens Point Area Senior High boys hoops took home the State Title.
“Something you can’t really describe," said SPASH player, Jamison Kryshak. "It’s a feeling I’ve never had before. It was just awesome, it was just, I don’t know, it’s just unbelievable really.”
It is one thing to have one team to take home a major title, but three is something else entirely.
