The individual voices of students at UWSP may be small, but what they accomplish when they come together is something they hope our local representatives will take notice to. UW-Stevens Point students made another effort to voice their concerns about proposed budget cuts to their school and the UW System Thursday.

"I hope it goes all the way through and it actually stops people from voting the bill through or at least allows them the opportunity to think about it and compromise," says Joe Paoletti, a UWSP student and march organizer.

Thursday, a number of students organized on campus and marched to the square in the downtown, hoping to send a message to an entire community about the devastating effects they say these cuts will have on not only them, but to area businesses alike.
