U.W. Stevens Point takes charge this Sexual Assault Awareness Month

According to national studies, 25% of college women survive rape or attempted rape at some point in their lives, while one in 71 men report being affected. U.W. Stevens point is turning teal this April for Sexual Assault Awareness Month and educating the public to help combat this problem.

Sunrise 7 spoke with Dean of Students, Troy Seppelt to learn more about the events taking place throughout the month along with why the university is so invested in educating the area. Watch the clip to learn more as well as find a list of event dates and times.
