On Tuesday the University of Stevens Point is sending out an email reminder to students and staff of the Universities Comprehensive Emergency Management in case of an active shooter.
The reminder highlights the same procedures used during the active shooter situation that occurred at Ohio State University Monday.
"Basically follows the same principles you may have heard from Ohio State today, when they gave their directives to their individuals to either run hide or fight," Corinna Neeb explained. Neeb is the Emergency Management Specialist at UWSP, and is responsible for making sure staff on campus are frequently trained.
