The 47th Annual Earth Day is just a few days away, so now is the perfect time to start looking for a way to celebrate your planet, by helping to keep it clean and green.

The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point Environmental Educators and Naturalists Association came on Sunrise 7 on Wednesday to go over some key tricks for staying green not just this Earth Day, but all days.

"A big one that a lot of people skip is simple recycling and composting," explained UWSP Senior Benjamin Vogel. "You won't believe how many things you can recycle from your day to day activities."

Vogel and Environmental Education Professor Becca Franzen both agree that taking it slow and changing your life one step at a time is more than enough help.
