When Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump visited Green Bay Monday night, the audience heard more about his ongoing claim that the election will be rigged.
Last week Trump called the election “one ugly fix,” and “one big, ugly lie,” before sending out a tweet Sunday that mirrored his earlier comments.
John Blakeman, Chair of the Political Science Department at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point said that while Trump’s latest comments were likely meant to stir up sentiment from his supporters, it could have an effect on others as well.
“It could keep some undecided voters away from the polls. It could keep people in general away from the polls.”
