UW Stevens Point is unveiling its brand new Aquaponics Innovation Center in Marquette County.

The 4,800 square foot facility is designed to help give UWSP biology students hands-on experience with aquaculture.

The university partnered with Montello based Nelson and Pade, Inc., which has more than 20 years of experience in building aquaponics facilities. The company wanted to partner with UWSP because it can be challenging to find a workforce trained in aquaculture.
