The longtime director of the Schmeeckle Reserve is being honored with the highest recognition given to academic staff members within the University of Wisconsin System.
Ron Zimmerman, a faculty member of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, has been named one of three recipients of the 2014 Academic Staff Awards for Excellence and will be honored during the UW System Board of Regents board meeting Thursday. Other recipients include Bonnie Isaacson, academic affairs program assistant at UW-Eau Claire, and the Registration and Records Office at UW-Stout.
