When Katie Morici isn’t studying for class or working, she’s spending most of her free time making the lives of others a little better in any way she can.

The 20-year-old University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point junior has been volunteering for as long as she can remember and has no plans on slowing down any time soon.

Morici’s volunteer experience spans the globe, from London to New Orleans, where she volunteered for four days recycling Mardi Gras beads and painting churches. And now that she’s back at UWSP, she’s at it again in Portage County.
