Stevens Point Journal

Leafing through 20 manuscripts earlier this fall, staff members of Cornerstone Press say the tale of a rascally black cat named Ace stood out from the crowd.

On Thursday, Cornerstone Press will hold a book launch for “The Great Cat Nap” by Abigail Bostwick. The book follows Ace, a cat who is a journalist and part-time detective, as he tries to find a kidnapped cat.

Established in 1984, Cornerstone Press is staffed entirely by English students from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and it publishes one book a year.
