University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Chancellor Bernie Patterson challenged staff members, students and the community to work toward the realization of several initiatives this year, including retaining a higher number of students from their first to second year on campus and continuing to increase diversity, during his state of the university address on Wednesday...
...“This is a special place, because of people who are here. Faculty, staff, students and community members all make up this university, and because of you I know we will succeed,” Patterson said. “If I was going to bet my career and reputation on getting it done, I would make that bet with this university because you have the heart, you have the dedication, you have the enthusiasm, and you have the will to make this happen.”
