Gene and Mary Lee Reineking’s connection to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and their passion for art will intersect this weekend as part of the Hidden Studios: Art Along the Ice Age Trail tour.
The Reinekings, who each graduated from UWSP in 1972 — Gene with a major in sociology/anthropology and Mary Lee with a major in communicative disorders — are part of a group of alumni participating in the tour, which falls during the same week as homecoming at UWSP. As part of the festivities, the Reinekings will display their artwork beginning Friday and running through the weekend at their art studio, Red Sky Studio at 8092 Highway GG in Almond.
