For the past week, Spc. Mitchell Fromm competed at Fort McCoy against 18 other soldiers from throughout the nation to be named as the best warrior in the U.S. Army Reserve.

On Friday afternoon, he received that honored distinction.

Fromm, a 23-year-old University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point health promotion and wellness student and a 2008 Marathon High School graduate, will now go on to compete against soldiers from the entire U.S. Army at the 2013 Army Best Warrior Competition.
