Alumnus wrestling coach gets help for liver transplant

A new calendar featuring photos of wrestlers of all ages is now available for purchase, with proceeds going to help formerMuhlenberg College head coach Jake Calhoun with expenses relating to his emergency liver transplant this summer, calendar organizer Teri Jakob told College Wrestling Examiner in an exclusive interview Monday.

Calhoun, a former University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point wrestler who took the helm at Pennsylvania-based Muhlenberg just over one year ago, is now recovering from an emergency liver transplant after collapsing from an outdoor workout this summer while preparing to wrestle at the World Team Trials in Florida.
