Explore Hmong culture at 'Taste of Toj Roob'

Discover the culture and foods of Southeast Asia at the 12th annual “Taste of Toj Roob-The Mountains,” sponsored by the Hmong and Southeast Asian American Club (HaSEAAC) student organization at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
A celebration of Hmong culture, the event will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, beginning at 4 p.m. in the Laird Room of the Dreyfus University Center, 1015 Reserve St., Stevens Point. Themed “Once Upon a Time/Puag Thaum Ub,” the evening will include a program about Hmong storytelling, dinner and entertainment.
Tickets are available in advance for $12 per person or $15 at the door. UW-Stevens Point students with ID may attend for $8 and groups of eight or more are $10 per person. Children under 10 years of age are free. Tickets may be purchased at the University Information and Tickets Office in the Dreyfus University Center or by calling 800-838-3378.
