Torches and jack-o-lanterns will light paths in Schmeeckle Reserve at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point as part of the annual fall Candlelight Hike Festival.
Held from 6 to 9 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 2, the free event is themed “Night Skies,” with celestial craft activities for children and free starry snacks. An interactive program featuring night sky characters will be presented at the campfire ring at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Night sky discovery stations will also be available all evening, and free raffle prizes will be given away at the reserve’s Browse Shop.
