UW-Stevens Point offers aquatic classes for adults

Aquatic classes designed for adults with arthritis, older adults looking for a low-impact workout or adults with special needs will be offered by the Special Needs Aquatic Program at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
The 45-minute classes are held twice a week on Monday and Thursday in the therapeutic pool in the UW-Stevens Point Health Enhancement Center, located adjacent to the Quandt Fieldhouse at 2050 Fourth Ave. The Basic Aquatic Exercise class begins at 8:45 a.m. The Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program classes are held at 10 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 4:30 p.m.
Session one (16 classes) will be held Jan. 28–March 21 and costs $48. Session two (14 classes) will be held April 1–May 16 and costs $42.
