The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will offer free math tutoring to area junior high school and high school students this fall.

Conducted by math education students in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, the tutoring will take place in Room A113A of the Science Building, 2001 Fourth Ave., Stevens Point. Tutors will help with a wide range of middle school and high school-level mathematics. They will be available from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at no cost to participating students. Students are welcome as often or seldom as needed.

Interested students or parents may email Susan Talarico (stalaric@uwsp.edu) or Andy Felt (afelt@uwsp.edu) or call 715-346-2120 for more information or to register. A parent must accompany a child to the first session to sign a waiver for each student younger than age 18, or sign it in advance.
