Enjoy an evening of jazz, poetry and scholarly and creative achievement at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point University Library.
The sixth annual Scholarly & Creative Activity Reception and Jazz & Poetry night will be held Thursday, April 11, from 4–9 p.m. Located in the library lobby and Food for Thought Café, the free event is open to the public. Hors d’oeuvres and nonalcoholic beverages will be provided.
The Jason Reisdorf Jazz Quintet will perform, and UW-Stevens Point faculty members will read poetry in the lobby between 7 and 9 p.m.
Displays will include University Library faculty and staff’s scholarly and creative works, such as research articles, books, conference posters, performance videos, art pieces and music recordings. Some faculty and staff will be on hand to informally discuss their work.
