Founded in 2003 by Keigwin and Associate Director
Nicole Wolcott, the group presents Keigwin’s electrifying choreography with
dance that embodies a theatrical sensibility of wit, style and heart.
Jaclyn
Walks, a company member and rehearsal director, will spend a week-long
residency working with 12 UW-Stevens Point dance students on the dance piece
“Air,” an excerpt of Keigwin’s dance “Elements” and set to the music of
composer Philip Glass. Walks will also lead four technique master classes for
UW-Stevens Point students. The students will perform “Air” as part of the
Danstage dance concert staged in Jenkins Theatre on May 2-4 and 7-9. The
residency is sponsored by the COFAC Great Artists, Great Speakers Series.
