An evening of international food and entertainment at UW-Stevens Point

Celebrate festivals from around the world with students at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point during the 45th annual International Dinner and Entertainment Saturday, April 18.

With the theme “One World, Infinite Festivals,” the International Club event will be held in the Laird Room of the Dreyfus University Center, 1015 Reserve St., beginning with a social hour at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m., and entertainment performed by international students will begin at 7:30 p.m. The event will highlight festivals and celebrations from across the globe and include a silent auction.

This year’s menu will include Vietnamese spring rolls, aloo tikki (Indian potato croquettes), Chinese shrimp puffs, Australian mini mincemeat pies, Indian Tandoori chicken, Peruvian tequeños (cheese sticks), Russian potato salad, Thai kale and edamame salad, Korean chicken, African fish stew, mahsi (Saudi rice stuffed vegetables), rajma (Indian kidney bean dish), gulab jamun (Indian sugar dumplings), brigadeiros (Brazilian candies), mors (Russian raspberry and cranberry drink) and chichi morada (Latin American purple corn and fruit drink). Items are prepared by UW-Stevens Point international students.
