Celebrate Latin American culture during the 9th annual Celebración
Hispana at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Held Saturday, Oct. 4, at 5 p.m.
in the Dreyfus University Center Laird Room, the event includes Latin American
cuisine and entertainment sponsored by the Latino Student Alliance. A dinner at
5:30 p.m. will include chips and salsa, pulled pork carnitas, chicken and steak
fajitas, plantains, desserts and drinks. A vegetarian option of salad, rice,
beans and pico de gallo is also available.
Entertainment will be provided by
Mexico Lindo, a traditional Latin American dance group, and DJ Danny, who will
play Latin music as well as requests.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8
for UW-Stevens Point students, and are available at the University Information
