Learn about a wide variety of career paths in the
physical sciences and mathematics through a new speaker series at the
University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point this spring semester.
“Career Paths in the Physical Sciences” will meet Monday
evenings from 5-5:50 p.m. in room D102 of the Science Building at UW-Stevens
Point, beginning Feb. 1. Interested community members, including high school
teachers, students and parents, and university faculty and staff members may
attend any or all of the colloquium’s 14 sessions free of charge.

The
series will be led by Christopher P. Cirmo, dean of the College of Letters and
Science. Cirmo has a background in biology, chemistry, environmental
engineering, environmental science and hydrology.
