Young children will gain a basic understanding and enthusiasm for the Spanish language in a new class offered through the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
“Let’s Learn Spanish” will be held for five weeks on the Saturdays of February 16 through March 16, from 10–10:45 a.m. Children ages 5 to 7, as well as four-year-olds in 4K, may attend. Instructor Shayna Thomas will use visual and audio aids as well as movement-based activities to teach children basic words and phrases in Spanish while having fun.
The class cost is $20 per student. For more information, contact UW-Stevens Point Continuing Education at 715-346-3838 or 800-898-9472 or go to www.uwsp.edu/conted/artculture.
