Learn more about a UW-Stevens Point trip to the UAE and Oman

Learn more about a University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point-sponsored trip to the United Arab Emirates and Oman through presentations held in Stevens Point and Wausau.
Led by Lynn Kordus, leader of the Arabia tour, the presentations will be held Thursday, June 20, from 6–7 p.m. in the Rotary Room of the Portage County Library in Stevens Point and on Wednesday, June 26, from 6–7 p.m. in the Wausau Room of the Marathon County Public Library in Wausau. Kordus is an associate lecturer of English at UW-Stevens Point and an associate lecturer in communication and theatre arts at UW-Marathon County. She has lived and worked in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates.
The 14-day tour will be held Jan. 7–20, 2014, and includes visits to various historical and cultural sites of interest in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah and Sharjah, as well as the country of Oman. The tour costs $5,196 per person and includes roundtrip airfare from Central Wisconsin Airport, airline fuel surcharges and airline departure charges, all breakfasts, lunches and dinners daily (with the exception of one day on which only breakfast will be provided), and admission costs where required.
