‘Seeing Light’ photography exhibit at UW-Stevens Point

See objects of nature in a different light during a photography exhibit at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Feb. 8-March 8. 

Photographer Angela Franks Wells will present her work in “Seeing Light” at the Carlsten Gallery, located on the second floor of the Noel Fine Arts Center. The photographs present a closer look at wildlife and plants through an experimental darkroom printing method that uses both chemicals and light for variations in color and tone. 

The show’s opening reception will be held Monday, Feb. 16, from 4-6p.m. 

A native of California, Franks Wells is an assistant professor of photography at East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. She earned a bachelor’s degree in studio art and psychology at Scripps College and a master’s degree at Arizona State University. More information may be found at http://angelafrankswells.com.
