Reading In the Disciplines Program
The Reading In the Disciplines Program at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point offers one-credit, pass/fail discussion/reading/writing groups attached to certain UWSP courses. These small groups are led by trained student leaders and meet once a week throughout the semester.
During the second week of the semester, group leaders come into the classrooms of courses with Reading In the Disciplines group opportunities to explain the program and allow students to sign up.
Reading In the Disciplines groups are attached to specified courses in disciplines such as anthropology, communications, forestry, geography, history, philosophy, religious studies, and women's studies.
