UWSP Computer Guide Program

The Computer Guide Program is a free resource that helps students learn how to use computers and software better. One-on-one tutoring in a distraction-free learning environment. 45-minute appointments focusing on:

  • Word - for word processing, or writing papers

  • Outlook - the e-mail program you use at U.W.S.P.

  • PowerPoint - for making professional presentations

  • Excel - a spreadsheet used to analyze data

  • Expression Web or DreamWeaver - used to create web pages

  • Desire to Learn (D2L) - used to supplement some courses

  • General Computer Literacy and Use

  • Final Cut - Video editing software

  • Photoshop - for making graphics and modifying photos
