Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting
The BFA Acting program offers comprehensive, conservatory-style training in stage and screen acting for the student interested in a performance career. An experienced faculty integrates the study of acting, voice and movement into a rigorous professional training program. In-depth studio classes, “real world” training in audition and camera techniques and a strong liberal arts education make the BFA Acting program an exciting choice for disciplined and talented students who share a passion for performance.

The BFA in Acting from UWSP has helped launch rich and exciting careers in the field. Graduates of this program have furthered their study at nationally ranked graduate programs, work for touring companies, and perform in theatres in Chicago, Minneapolis, Las Angeles, and New York. Several graduates have performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, in commercials and television series.
