Ruthie Baker
Ruthie Baker was named one of the Outstanding New Faces in Twin Cities Theatre in 2004 for her role as Patty Andrews in Christmas of Swing at the History Theatre. Ruthie’s other Minneapolis/St. Paul appearances include the premiere of the zany reality-show Church Basement Ladies at the Plymouth Playhouse, Emma Goldman in Assassins for the Minneapolis Fringe Festival, and the Guthrie Theater’s Pride and Prejudice. A Jerry Herman Scholarship recipient and proud member of Actors Equity, Ruthie now resides in New York City, where she has performed her one-woman Cabaret show, Of Mutts and Men, at the venues Don’t Tell Mama and The New York Theatre Barn.
