Resetting The Telephone
If your telephone has dial tone, but you cannot dial,
then you need to reset your telephone.
To reset:
- On the right-hand side of the telephone remove
the plastic label cover and the label. (Near the top of the telephone
you will see a little blue switch.)
- Move the switch from the position marked "24V"
to the "90V", and back again to "OFF." This should reset the telephone.
If it's still not working:
- Unplug the wall cord from your phone. Keep it
unplugged for several minutes.
- After a few minutes, change the blue switch to
"90V" and plug the wall cord back in.
- Once plugged in, change the switch to "24V."
- If it still doesn't work, call Pat Literski at
(715) 346-4130, or plitersk@uwsp.edu.
