If your telephone has dial tone, but you cannot dial, then you need to reset your telephone.

To reset:

  1. On the right-hand side of the telephone remove the plastic label cover and the label. (Near the top of the telephone you will see a little blue switch.)
  2. Move the switch from the position marked "24V" to the "90V", and back again to "OFF." This should reset the telephone.

If it's still not working:

  1. Unplug the wall cord from your phone. Keep it unplugged for several minutes.
  2. After a few minutes, change the blue switch to "90V" and plug the wall cord back in.
  3. Once plugged in, change the switch to "24V."
