Federal USF Fee
The Federal Universal Service Fund is a fund established by the FCC to provide financial support for programs that promote the use and affordability of local telephone service. ALLTEL is required to contribute to this fund. The Federal USF fee is an estimated charge to wireless and wireline subscribers to recover ALLTEL's contribution to this fund. This is listed under "Other Charges and Credits" on your bill.
