UWSP, with ALLTEL, have excellent wireless insurance and enhanced warranty programs. We encourage you to check them out! Choose the coverage that works best for you. What is the difference between ProductGuard & PlatinumGuard? Coverage options are based on the equipment you own. If you have standard equipment, ProductGuard Plus and ProductGuard are available. If you have premium equipment, PlatinumGuard Plus and PlatinumGuard are available. Premium equipment includes: Motorola RAZR V9m and all SmartPhone devices.
ProductGuard Plus & PlatinumGuard Plus - Total handset protection if your phone isn't working for any reason - loss, theft, damage or malfunction.
ProductGuard & PlatinumGuard - Insures your phone if it is lost, stolen or damaged.
Enhanced Warranty - Provides protection against electrical or mechanical malfunction or defect during and beyond the manufacturer's warranty. With an enhanced warranty, there is no limit to claims, and no deductible.

Insurance Claims:
If you still have your phone, and it was damaged, call the UWSP Telephone
Support Office. We will start the insurance claim process for your wireless
phone.
If your phone is lost or stolen, immediately call the Telephone Support Office (715) 346-2562, so that service can be suspended for unauthorized usage. After business hours, call ALLTEL at (800) ALLTEL1.
If your phone was lost due to theft, you must file a police report and forward a copy to the UWSP Telephone Support Office. You will need to contact Asurion Insurance Services at (888) 723-3360. You have up to 30 days of the incident to file a claim for equipment insurance. After filing a claim, your phone will be replaced in 2-3 business days.
