Sponsored by:

University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point
The International Research Symposia on Talent Education focus on the applications of research as it relates to the Suzuki Method and music teaching and learning. Established in 1990, the Symposia also offer the chance to learn some of the basic methods of conducting research in your own studio. Learn how to take an everyday situation, problem or question from your studio and distill it into a research question, how to locate and interpret other studies on the same issue, what is qualitative and quantitative research and how to know which method is best to use for your purpose, developing a survey, analyzing data and designing research projects doable in the music studio.
In addition, participants have the chance to hear presentations of completed projects of various researchers as well as meet and talk with presenters at the poster session. Perhaps you may be one of them at one of the next symposia!
Attendance at the Symposium is open to all who are interested in Suzuki Talent Education. In addition, parents, researchers in related fields and college students are invited to attend and submit abstracts for presentation.
