Minutes from 9-28-04 Meeting:
- CONFERENCES – We discussed the possibility of attending
conferences related to women in math, science, and education.
If you have any interest in attending conferences, please let us know.
Also, let us know if there is a specific conference or category of
conferences you would like to attend (either by e-mail or at the next
meeting).

FUNDRAISERS – Conferences can be costly, so we discussed a
couple options for fundraisers: pizza or bake sale in the science
building. We have found out from Math Club that in order to have a
pizza sale we would have to bring pizza in from somewhere (ex. Pizza
Hut, Dominoes, etc.). We can discuss the details more at next
meeting.

VOLUNTEER/COMMUNITY SERVICE – This semester we want to get out
in the community or on campus to get some volunteer/service
experience. Last year we volunteered in the math room on Fridays
with the Math Club. We are waiting to hear what hours needed to be
covered on Fridays so we can volunteer again this year. We will be
discussing other opportunities for getting involved on campus and in
the community at the next meeting, so please bring suggestions and ideas!
*** There was a lot of general idea discussions at this meeting.
