Location: Sandhill Wildlife Area (Babcock, WI) http://www.dnr.state.wi.us/Org/land/wildlife/reclands/sandhill/

Transportation: Project leaders drive

When: December-March (from the first snow till the end of available snow), may sleep weekends at Sandhill

Volunteer Duties: Assist with collection of camera data, assist with collection of tracking data through surveys

What to Bring:  Warm clothes, food for the weekend, money, sleeping gear for the Sandhill dorm

What We Are Looking For: track otters and obtain an understanding of what the tracks mean (number, sex, which direction they are going)

Project Purpose:  To obtain information for the WI DNR on home range size, population estimates, emmigration and immigration, number of maternal groups, and the maternal group sizes.
