Each year, our student organization works with the UWSP AWRA (American Water
Resources Association) to go cleanup Highway 39/51 just outside of Stevens
Point. We usually try to get out there 2-3 times a year. This is
a great way to give back to the community and help clean up the environment
at the same time.
4/03/08 UPDATE
This spring we will team up with the AWRA and the Waste Society to do
Highway Cleanup on April 22nd around 5:30pm. It usually takes about an
hour or so, but the more people we have, the faster it'll go.
