Each year, our student organization works with the UWSP AWRA (American Water
Resources Association) to go cleanup Highway 39/51 just outside of Stevens
Point. We usually try to get out there 2-3 times a year. This is
a great way to give back to the community and help clean up the environment
at the same time.
9/18/09 UPDATE
This fall we will team up with the AWRA and to do
Highway Cleanup on Thursday or Tuesday around 5:00pm keep posted for more
details. It usually takes about an
hour or so, but the more people we have, the faster it'll go.
