SLEA Involvement Points Policy

Purpose is to encourage involvement in the organization by the general membership. Those who are actively involved with Student Law Enforcement Association (SLEA) work to make the organization stronger and it is felt by the officers that their involvement should be rewarded.

General Policy

Points will be recorded by the SLEA Secretary. All point totals will begin at the start of each semester and end at the end of each semester. At the end of each semester gift certificates will be awarded to the persons with the three highest point totals. Officers are not eligible. No points may be accumulated prior to the payment of membership dues. This policy was reviewed and approved by SLEA members at the meeting on February 24, 2003. Members also voted to begin recording points starting with the February 24, 2003 meeting.
