FOR 395. Tree Care Techniques

This is the first level of learning to properly climb and care for trees. In this class students learn basic climbing techniques, knot tying and get their first chance to get up in the trees and do some real climbing!  Check out the pictures below to see how things went this past year.

FOR 495. Advanced Tree Care Techniques

In partnership with Mid-State College in Wisconsin Rapids, UWSP offers a series of advanced tree care technique courses. After taking FOR 395 students are welcome to enroll in these courses and continue their tree care education with an emphasis on real experiences. Mid-state offers it's impressive indoor training facility for students enrolled in this course. The pictures below are from this past years course.
