Officer Job Descriptions
President:
To preside over regular meeting.
To act as a liaison between the club members and the University faculty, staff, and student government.
Set up meeting times
Work with and provide guidance to the executive committee.
Vice-President
Set up Ad Hoc Committees.
To preside over committee meetings.
Assume responsibilities of the President if the President is unable to fulfill them.
Oversee membership.
Deal with members who violate club and University policies.
Secretary
Responsible for any club correspondence.
Record minutes of the meetings.
Prepare and post agendas of upcoming meetings at least 1 day in advance of any meeting.
Treasurer
Maintain records of the financial accounts of the club.
Collect membership dues.
Oversee fund-raising activities.
Responsible for ordering club apparel.
Treasurer-Elect
Assist the Treasurer with club duties.
Assume responsibilities of the Treasurer if the Treasurer is unable to fulfill them.
Web Weaver
Post meeting minutes on webpage.
Maintain current student pictures.
