Student Government Association

Interested in joining Student Government?

Good news folks, as a student at the wonderful University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, you are already a member of the Student Government Association.  We are always looking for prospective members who are interested in serving the university and their fellow students by becoming an active student leader on campus!

Become a Senator!

Senators are the heart and soul of the Student Government Association.  Each of the four colleges within the university has representation through senators on the Student Senate.  Senators are required to attend the weekly senate meeting, one SGA committee meeting, and one University committee meeting.  As a senator, your job is what you make it.  The time commitment is not heavy and can easily work around your schedule for meetings.  Senators are quintessential to representing students at the university - they keep the train moving by representing the student body with creative ideas, suggestions, legislation, and general participation in student life.

Any questions?  Contact Andy Letson about becoming a Student Government Senator!
